Pocong

Sebuah pocong adalah Malaysia / Bahasa Indonesia hantu yang dikatakan sebagai jiwa orang mati terjebak di jas mereka. The pocong suit ( shroud ) is used by Muslims to cover the body of the dead person. Sesuai yang pocong (kain kafan) digunakan oleh umat Islam untuk menutupi tubuh orang yang meninggal. They cover the dead body with white fabric called mori and tie the clothing over the head, under the feet, and on the neck. Mereka menutupi mayat dengan kain putih yang disebut mori dan mengikat pakaian di atas kepala, di bawah kaki, dan di leher. According to the native beliefs, the soul of a dead person will stay on the earth for 40 days after the death. Menurut kepercayaan sebenar, jiwa orang yang sudah mati akan tinggal di bumi selama 40 hari selepas kematian. When the ties aren't released after 40 days, the body is said to jump out from the grave to warn people that the soul need the bonds to be released. After the ties are released, the soul will leave the earth and never show up anymore. Setelah ikatan dilepas, jiwa akan meninggalkan bumi dan tidak pernah muncul lagi. Because of the tie under the feet, the ghost can't walk. Kerana dasi di bawah kaki, hantu tidak bisa berjalan. This causes the pocong to hop. Hal ini menyebabkan pocong melompat.

Pocong dalam Budaya Moden

Pocongs often appear in religion-based movies or TV serials. Pocongs sering muncul dalam filem berasaskan agama atau TV serials. In the early 2000s, TV stations in Indonesia purported to capture ghost appearances with their cameras and put the records on a specific show of their own. Pada awal 2000-an, stesen TV di Indonesia diakui untuk menangkap penampakan hantu dengan kamera mereka dan meletakkan nota itu pada acara tertentu mereka sendiri. In these shows, the pocong appearances could be seen very often, along with the kuntilanak . Dalam pertunjukan ini, yang penampilan pocong bisa dilihat sangat sering, bersama dengan kuntilanak.
